Lane is 4 months old now! I can't believe how fast he is growing! He is talking all the time, chewing on his hands, and loves sitting up so he can grab his toys.

He has been battling infected ears and a fever all week. He is finally starting to act like his old self again. Thank goodness!

I got out the johnny jump up toy and Lane gave me this look. I am pretty sure he was thinking "You want me to do what!?!?, I don't think so"!

I am such a big boy! People usually say the I am a healthy boy. I know what they really mean! I am a little chubby and happy about it!!!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! We sure did!
Lane got all kinds of great toys and books and we had the best time
helping him open them. We spent Christmas Eve with Chris' family and Christmas day with my family. It was great to see everyone. Now we just have to figure out where we will put
everything. My parents gave us a video camera for Christmas so I hope to post
some video footage soon. I have to find time to read the directions first!

Lane is growing so fast. We weighed him on our scale and he weighed 15.4 pounds. I am pretty sure each cheek weighs a pound a piece. I love cheeks! I am so glad Lane has such pinchable ones! He is smiling all of the time, except for when I get the camera out. We are going to have to talk to him about that! He is talking more (well making sounds) and trying so hard to get a giggle to come out! We love it! He is such a sweet, and easy going baby! He is sleeping from around 10:00 pm to 6:30 am pretty consistently which is great!

I'll be relaxing and enjoying time with my little man next week before I have to go
back to work on the 4th. Not looking forward to it :(

Old And New!

Lane had his 2 month check up today. He weighed 13.8 lbs and was 23 1/2 inches. 94% for weight and 75% for height! He was such a sport when they gave him his shots.

Also, I must add that in the Christmas party picture in the previous post Chris IS wearing a t-shirt with a sports coat...BUT I promise he put on a dress shirt for the party. He wasn't ready yet when our Super Sweet Neighbors, Laura and Walt (pictured below), came to babysit Lane so he slipped his coat on for a quick picture before they left. I had really forgotten about it until my sweet friend Kim reminded me about it. Oops! I usually don't let Chris out of the house like that! Ha!

Lane had his first experience with the bumbo yesterday. I don't really think he knew what to think about being such a big boy and sitting up.
